Thats a 2psi difference.
i corrected the other thread as well.

initially dynoed at jms w/ a mbc and stock map sensor my car made 501whp on 30psi. Jorge knowing this is my daily driver kept the torque and power low and left the tune on the rich side.

when i went to the track i turned the boost down since i wasnt getting any traction at 30psi, thats when i ran 11.9 at approx 23-24 psi of boost. after getting the launch ing down i started turning the boost back up.. eventually i realized it was over 30psi, how far? idk my gauge only reads up to 30, but it was going quite a bit past that. when i made a log for tom it was at this 30+psi of boost w/ 60 something temps outside.

once the tuning commenced w/ tom, i changed from a mbc to ecu boost and added an omni to be able to log boost.

so all in all, my vdr graph of my 30psi tune from jms would have read lower than whats on the chart now. the dynojet is reading quite a bit higher.

once tom is done, i will be returning to the same dynojet to see what kinda #'s i make. although temps have dropped quite a bit outside.

yeah i said the same thing, let alone the 480 on VD was w/ more boost than the 500whp on the dynojet.. so potentially instead of 20hp lower its probably 30-40

just got bov today, thanks tom, just need some small things to be able to install

Man, you guys are all over the place on your guess of this comparison. I'd toss the idea of comparing the dynojet and the vdr out the window at this point.

Other then that though, looks like decent power. What's the trap speeds on this car at the 540HP setting?

we are gonna use the track for reference. i have no idea.. he never ran my tune at the track in full tilt yet. but our goal is 128mph+ on this car and 10sec pass.

there are threads on here about how to set that bov up.. it can be tricky. it can be hooked up a million different ways.

is ur tranny gonna b my backup?

on another note, synapse installed, still getting flutter at full throttle approx 30psi, havent logged to see what boost im making, but def sounds like its still leaking. i've attempted to tighten the preload nut, but seems like its already pretty tight, but ill try again tomorrow

Hell nah you aint using my tranny as a back up... get the DRs and do work, proper launch will not hurt it bro.

figured id update this thread since jmcmill did a new pull today on the completed e85 results from a month ago or so. keep in mind this fp black is single scroll and there's lots more power left with more boost, but we feel theres no need to push it for now.

it needs some tall tires for the track, otherwise it wont do good since its a evo 9 4th gear.

Would like to see it with a Evo8 tranny... It has the power to run 10s thats for sure, but the gearing is garbage.
