2011 Canadian GSR, blue relays except for the fuel pump. I scored a free one when I had my Ralliart so I kept it, it's now in my Evo.

Has anyone had any problem with the blue pump relay ???/ Mine is already having problem. I order a couple of new one to replace it the problem is pretty much when the car is warm up already and we test the relay and it came back that is not working properly.

I had a blue one fail on me... I had no power and knock when going WOT, I swapped back the original black relay that came with the car and no problems since!

For those in Australia, you can go to Jaycar Electronics and order this:
SPST 30A Horn Relay 12V Cat SY-4045 for $6:50

Works fine.

Went in to Mitsubishi today. They've now changed the relay once again and is back to a black one. Part number starts with MR something, and on te package it says AC Compressor Relay. Could this beefy black one finally be the "one"?

Interesting, I wonder if all these people swapping out the black ones were actually the new black ones lol.

This new one has white writing on top. I'll take pictures when I pick it up, but there was much confusion as I gave them the part # for the blue one, and they showed me a black one which I thought must be a mistake. But it seems like blue and greens are discontinued.

I'd like to see the new black one. This is getting so stupid. I haven't heard of any blue or greens ones failing, but apparently some do. I'm about to say screw it and make a custom relay.

Alright guys, just got back from the dealership. Apparently in Canada anyways, Mitsubishi has decided to replace the Blue 8627A024 with MR122409. I can't even order the Blue ones if I tried anymore. Now this part isn't exactly new and has been around for quite some time and I brought this up to them, they said it's the same company that makes the Blue ones, but this one in particular is made in Italy and not in Japan. Whether that makes a difference or not, time will only tell. Who knows, maybe a little better QC is just what these damn relays needed all this time. FYI, I'm already using the Green relay, but my Stage 1 OTS maps are experiencing high knocks. Took the advice of a COBB staff and trying out a "blue" relay.

I can take a side picture if you really want, but it's the same height as the Green/Blue ones.
