Nice... I was actually just looking at this kit... no price on the full kit on their site but the hot parts kit seems reasonable

I forget the the pricing. I know it was not too bad as far as cost. Yes, the kit makes excellent power no doubt about it. This is the same kit I tuned for 6262. The owner wanted to go to something with quicker spool so got the PTE-5857 CEA same as 750X kit.

Spools great and has tons of power. I think I could get this kit close to 500whp with a larger MAF and 28-29 psi again we are at the limits of the stock block.

Damn that's pretty impressive. Again, another great tune Kris. What size MAF? I guess 3" since it maxed? Check your email shortly.

Amazing spool for that much power, awesome job!
Looking thru several of your recent tunes, and based on the shape of the curves, looks like you have the MIVEC side of these motors down to a science. From personal driving (and continued testing) this seems to be the greatest attribute of the 4B11T. So long as the power/torque is smooth in delivery (i.e. MIVEC) they seem to handle insane amounts of power on stock blocks/cams. It would appear that "hard hitting" tunes (i.e. boost/timing spikes) can make similar peak numbers, but their curves are no where near as impressive (let alone having a tendency to window the block).

It was a ETS intake still utilized the stock plastic MAF housing.

He will be upgrading to a 3" or 3.5" in the future.

You can see where the power plateau's out where the MAF runs towards the upper limit.

I tried a few sets of MIVEC on it. We stayed with the same version as on 6262 since it produced better transient response in the lower gears and produced same power. I doubt we could get it to spool any fast but 4200 rpm is not bad for that sized turbo.

Very nice

This is a good spot to be for that sized turbo. I need to ditch stock frame. Every time I see a graph with the 5857 I wish I had one.

Peaks 27-28, tapers to about 26-27. I was out of MAF to run it any higher. Plus he wanted to have a conservative tune. I think it can makes close to 500 whp on stock block if setup correctly @ 29 or so psi. Figure you gain 10hp every psi.

I think I'm going to ditch my stock frame plans and get one. It's definitely the better option for being stuck on 93oct pump w/ room to grow.
