I know the HKS is plug up and go, but if I'm using the AEM EMS do I need to adjust anything on the tune or is it good to go?

 

It is plug and play, but will lean out your tune a little. Put it on, and do a 3rd gear pull from 2k upto 7k. Look at the log, if you need help pm me.

Doug is the man!

I called Doug and left him a message. He called me back pretty quick and told me how much fuel to add and to make a run, log it, and analyze it.

What I found was a little shocking. I should have made a log a few weeks back when the weather change hit us. Its been really cold over the last month or so. What I found was my boost was hitting 24+psi on 93 pump. Not good!

Called Doug back and he helped me get it back to where it needs to be. I lowered the boost and made another log. I'm now hitting 20-21psi.

The a/f looks better after I lowered the boost.

I hope nothing is wrong with my engine as I have been hearing a loud ticking noise in the last couple weeks from the engine.

 

Ya just like Luis said. It's always good to LOG a 3rd gear pull after you add a new mod.. especially one that enhances your spark. THe DLI-2 is really good
