Boost control and wastegate pressure
So I have recently installed the GM boost control solenoid on my 03. I have used new lines, so no restrictors. I am having trouble getting my boost up to the 20 psi range and holding it. I'd like to eventually get about 23 psi with my water injection.
What do you think is going on?
What is the max boost you can get on the stock wastegate acctuator?
Remember, I am at 4800' altitude, so boost isn't as easy to get up here, but I don't think 23psi is unreasonable.
