Aem ems radiator fan won't shut off ?
 

I have a aem ems and when I turn off the car the after market fan thats in front of the radiator won't shut off. I have to disconnect the battery so my car won't die. Once I put the negative back on the fan just starts going. I called a local shop and they told me its the aem and that I should send it in. I really don't want the down time. Has this happened to anyone else?

It's a simple fix, if I could remember what it was I would tell you. do a search on the AEM forums.

If I remember correctly, theres a rad fan option somewhere, I just looked but couldnt find it, I remember seeing it though.

Go to Options:Configure Outputs. Select LS9 from the pulldown menu labeled "Outputs" and go over the parameters to determine what needs to be changed.

I helped troubleshoot this problem on a car reciently and we found out that one of the fan relays was toasted, you can check the relays in the fuse/relay box under the hood by the battery. If it worked before on your AEM and doesn't now this very well could be your issue.

On our problem it acted like the high and low speed was inverted.
