trying to source an A pillar dual gauge pod. The universal ones dont fit.

Where do the AU evo owners get parts from. As in aftermarket parts?

 

Hey bro, u just gotta look around some of the vendor's websites. www.lancershop.com , www.evomoto.com , www.logicperformance.com are ones that i can name off the top of my head. Hell, im pretty sure almost all the evoM vendors sell an EVO specific gauge pod with the tweeter cutout!

 

Sorry dude. Right hand drive model car. All the pillar pods are to suit left hand drives.....

??? I thought all evo's were rhd?? as for in aus you could try local autobarn they sell those sorts of things or www.mercurymotorsport.com may be able to help, oversea's try the homepage on here

Go down to your local library (ie. Boarders ) Check out the ads in the magazines such as Fast Fours, Speed etc....and you should find ads for places that sell parts for EVO8s such as ECU upgrades etc.

 

thats pretty much it. or try www.evolutionoz.net (hey thx !!!),they have a lot of people who can help out.. they've been doing a lot of research over there.

 

Check out Autometer.. I think they just began offering RHD/JDM versions of their pillar pods (I've seen them for the Hondas and a few others)

I've also seen quite a few ads in the UK Mags, guaranteed you'll find RHD pod manufacturers in their magazines, then track down a part number and distributor in Australia..

 

Pretty much a lot of car only stores sell auto-meter.. eveb repco..

GREDDY had moulded mounts, but not sure if they have them out for Evos yet, i know i can get one for my sil ..

I think Tanghy and Mach3evo on the evolutionoz.net forum are able to source the pillar gauge pods for the Evo8s. I know of at least one 8 in WA with a pillar pod - and it look very nice indeed.
