Rear Disc Brakes for Lancer
Dont bother with ABS. 4 wheel discs is all you need. ABS is good to stop locking up but it is way over rated in my opinion. Most guys I know with GSR's hate it and wish they didnt have it.
I have 2 sets of ABS systems and lines sitting in my garage and after driving a GSR with and without ABS, I prefer not to have it. It was a waste of money on my part as its hard enough as it is to lock up the wheels with 4 wheels discs and it really pisses you off when ABS cuts in when you dont want it to.
Just some advise. But its your own personal choice if you want it or not.

To clarify something here with the prices we were charging $650.00 AUD$ for teh brakes with the 2nd hand rotors after freight into australia, import taxes etc.
The $1000.00 AUD$ is with NEW ROTORS - slotted rotors which we are getting a batch of 50 units made now as we can no longer source teh 2nd hand rotors.
I don't think that is an overprice when it comes supplied with EBC Kevlar brake pads, new slotted rotors, calipers, backing plates etc.
WE have currently 7 sets of calipers etc in stock minus rotors.
For those who have the 5 stud pattern - we now have the kits available for those cars as well already in stock ready to sell with new rotors for the same price

Ok, here's what I have been thinking for a rear disc conversion. First of all the two bolt patterns for the Lancer are 4x100 and 4x114.3. I don't know about availability of the 4x100 pattern, but I do know a good source for the 4x114.3 bolt pattern which is on my OZ. Here is the list of cars I came up with.
The 2002+ Nissan Sentra SE-R and Spec-V have rear discs and a bolt pattern of 4x114.3. Another good thing is the SE-R has a multi-link in the rear, which is similar to the multi-beam that the OZ has. Now with a huge hype with the 16-21 year old market there are a lot of these cars which have been wrecked because of stupid driving (i know because my roommate is a memeber of B15sentra.net). I don't know what all would go into the brake swap, but at least there is a good source. The 2004 SE-R has a Brembo option as well, but you need 17 inch wheels to fit them id I'm not mistaken.
4x114.3 with rear disc:
Nissan Sentra SE-R, Spec-V and the new Limited version
Hyundai Elantra
Kia Optima
4x100 with rear disc:
Acura Integra
Honda Civic SI (I think some EX models do too)
Mazda Miata

So, what is really going to be involved with this type of swap? I mean, it would be easier if the donor car had the multi-beam suspension because then you could most likely swap out the entire thing. But I mean will everything be able to just slap right onto the car? I highly doubt it. I mean when I owned my Civic it was this huge involved job to get discs in the rear.
Rear Disc Kits
Okay we have 7 kits in stock with either a standard new rotor or a slotted rotor. All options come with EBC Black stuff rear brake pads. These are using the 2nd hand calipers, adapter plates and brake hoses etc.
Pricing is $800.00 with the new rotors and pads.
We have also sourced our future kits which will be using new components instead of 2nd hand calipers etc and will come with the same two options above.
Not sure on teh exact price yet but that will be around the $1250.00 bracket as a complete brand new bolt on package. We are researching cheaper options but this is the best we can offer at this time. The main thing to remember though is that we are using all new Mitsubishi genuine components so there are no compatibility issues nor warranty problems.
