Just wondering to any fellow aussies out there with evo kits (including those far out droid looking things!) have any problems being pulled over by police questioning the height and clearance of the car??
The only reason Im asking is that I will be changing the body kit of my MR..I just dont want to have any forseeable probs in the future...

 

I've got an evo kit on my Lancer 2dr.
Then lowered on 17" rims (sensibly).
No problems with the cops...

Just don't go overboard. Just leave enough clearance so you can clear the speed-bumps at the shops - when you're picking up your groceries
just kidding.

There are so many lancers out there that have been kitted up. It's so regular now and the cops have just learned to accept it. They'll only book the idiots who go overboard.....like: lowering til there's only 1cm clearance left, rims are too big - then lowered so the wheels sit behind the arches - sh*t like that.
That's the sorta things that my friend (who's a patrol cop) looks for...and he LOVES slapping those yellows on windsheilds!

Have a look at my car. It's kitted up nicely and the police aren't worried about it. Just don't go over board on the rims and lowering.
