Well ive already done some simple looks mods to my car, aswell as a new set of exractors and a twin exhaust. Last dyno day it put out around 80kw. Now for engine upgrades i was first looking at getting a halfcut of a 4g63 and dropping that in, but i realised that it would take too long to save and ive been looking at some other cheaper mods.
I was recommended by a mate to get a new performance cam shaft and a new ecu. With some good tuning i am supposed to be able to get approx 20-25kw extra. Now this is an awesome upgrade and will only cost me ~$1500. I was wondering if anyone else had experience with any of these mods or had any other ideas?

bang for buck mate... you keep the $1500 and save up slowly and u get a 63, and wack the mother in there and u will be loving it. in the end thats what will happen, you will get sick of what u have and ull want more power, you will look back and go "i should of just put the evo in". even if it takes a few months. you wont regret it trust me

That bit of power (15-20) won't do much for you. By the time you get it all in and tuned you will be looking at $2400. Now thats about $160 per 1Kw.
You could get a 160Kw supercharger kit for say $5200, this then equates to about $65 per Kw. So with a bit of saving you make you money work better and car is easily insured too. Costs more but still easy. This amount of grunt will keep you entertained for much longer and you won't be too far behind the EVO's either.
