Short shifts and EVO gear knobs
Hey guys,
I just today got a Greddy Counterweight shift knob in the mail and just put it on. ITS AWESOME. A little smaller, a little lower, and a lot heavier than the stock knob. And its a perfect thread on the factory shifter, no spacers or allens.
It just feels better. The shifts feel a little more solid, only cause theirs less vibration in the knob itself cause it has so much more mass. Also feels classier man. I bet the Works knob feels the same way. Such a fun little upgrade for relatively little money: the greddy only costs around $35. It took me a bit to find the mitsubishi threaded version though. Many places are sold out of it.
Anyway, my useless two cents. Good luck with your hunt.

Thanks man, i just contacted, Mitsubishi, there going to look into weather a EVO knob will fit my car, if it does, i might as well check out some aftermarket EVO knobs if i can find them, but i get the feeling that wont be easy.
hey, i got this g'knob and i've seen very similar g'knobs on the evo 7 i think. Its a genuine? momo g'knob which my dad got, though he got it off another car...
the g'knob didn't fit properly so my dad drilled a larger hole in the g'knob and put some adhesive to stick it to the stick/knob... Now the g'knob is there for good hehe..
