Well we got a nice treat this Friday when Martin and Eric from AMS (AutoMotorSports) in Chicago came to the shop to tune a Porsche owned by a local racer by the name of Bob S. from the Sonoma area who was there with mechanic/fabricator Sean to assist in the process.

Martin is one of the head guys at AMS and is well known in the industry for his business as well *** tuning skillz while Eric is the driver of the AMS Drag EVO that covers the 1/4 in a blistering 8 sec at over 160 mph

It was great to not only meet them but to also allow us to pick their brains about many things related to racing and specifically our Evo's that we race! We gained lots of helpful information that will hopefully translate into lowered ET's and higher MPH's. Thanks again Martin & Eric.

Well the tune took a while but i'm sure the owner was quite happy with the #'s even though we all wanted to see a run of over 800WHP! In the end the tune was finalized and the owner was given over 700WHP to put to his disposal on the road courses......watch out INFINEON RACEWAY!

Interesting combination there...early 996 (at least the front clip is early 996) with an aircooled turbo engine. Don't see that much.
