Question about AMS's intercooler piping

Hey guys, I have a quick question. I am getting the AMS 50 trim, AMS VSR intake, AMS intercooler with all their piping installed. However, today my installer told me that the intercooler piping would probably needed to be fabricated, due to the AMS VSR intake sitting lower than stock. Is there a way to fit it on without fabrication or is this pretty normal?

Thanks!

You have to modify the piping a little bit because yes it does sit lower. However not much is needed.

All they do is give you an upper ic pipe piece that works with the VSR manifold and your good to go. They did it for me.
You can kinda see here how it bends down right before the BOV to fit the lower TB position.

Do I have to get it from AMS or can my local shop modify mine?
