What exhaust mod would best fit a 2015 lancer se awc?

Ive always wanted to have an aggressive sound on my car i know it doesnt go as fast as the ralliart or the evo’s but having a good sounding exhaust will really make me enjoy driving much more. Do you guys know any type of exhaust that will fit in a awd model with a 2.4l engine.

Hello / Welcome

Carid looks like they carry a dual tip for your 2.4L. They have a single sided CAT back as well

They are both CAT backs so it wont be too loud

Just an idea

I'm running a Greddy Supreme SP on my 2012. Looks and sounds great in my opinion. Not to loud, because of the new exhaust law in California.

I would make a custom exhaust, just buy your muffler.

Custom

I went custom 2 1/4 piping to the cat back and a Greddy SP exhaust canister and I always get compliments

2.25 inch is definitely the way to go however, catback system sadly does next to nothing performance wise.
By far the biggest restriction in your exhaust is the catalytic converter

You will need to drop in a mini-cat on the rear O2 Sensor or you will throw a CEL

I suggest dual resonator , make the front one bigger then the rear , put the front one as close to the sensor as possible but behind it if that makes sense

Hope this helps

Full pipe no cat and two resonators

Yeah I'm full pipe no cat and two resonators on my 2015 SE AWC and it has such a much better top end I definitely recommend if you can get away with smog laws and all that

Please don't run no cat
The planet is in bad enough shape as it is
100 cell cat will.do the trick nicely

No cat

Well I would love to run a cat but Mitsubishi quoted me almost 4000 for a replacement so until a aftermarket universal compatible one is manufactured I sadly will have to be running dirty

Feel free to read thru the links I posted earlier and check out the 200 cell cat made by "RAM"
Have a chat to your local exhaust shop, no doubt they will be on the shelf just like they were when I got mine

I walked into my local exhaust shop and had a chat to them
They have them behind the counter.
They are quite inexpensive

Fire up eBay or Amazon and search on
200 cell catalytic converter

And thank you for doing the right thing
