I didn't smell exhaust fumes, but the car was a lot louder.

I found those ones, but they don't sync as well as the one with the rapper that started the whole thing.

Got mah new truck. Exactly the same as my old one, except the dealer install running boards are different. They had to get it in a swap from another dealer so stuck with them. They suck. They used paint that is like bigger grit skateboard paint and they stick out far enough I keep rubbing my leg on it. I might just craigslist them, though I'd need boards of some sort since the trucks get beat up without them at the ranch. Though having driven a regular car for the last couple weeks, it feels weird being up high with such rubbery controls.

Looks like that 18 year old I dated a few years ago was just ahead of her time.

(For those who don't recall, our big fight before breaking up included her being mad at me because I said things like "half past 8" and she didn't understand what that meant, and thus I was making her feel dumb, though she had never mentioned that she couldn't read an analog clock nor do basic fractions until then)

I was taught how to read analogue clocks in elementary school. I was also taught phrase like "half past 8". WTF is wrong with society. Kids don't know this stuff because they aren't taught it. Nothing to do with "they only see digital clocks". The only analogue clock I had growing up was the one in school, and the one in the kitchen.

I had an analog watch which only had a marker for the 12... not great for telling time precisely, but simple enough to ball park, and it looked pretty good. I definitely recall people (my age at the time, so late 20s?) who couldn't even estimate the time looking at it, unless it was noon or midnight. Those people are the parents of the kids who are in that article.

In other news, my super annoying socially stunted coworker is on a roll today. I started recording the number of times he gets up and tries to start random conversations. 24 on Wednesday, only 10 yesterday that I counted.

At least it's Friday and I get a reprieve in 5 hours. Not that I'm counting the minutes or anything.

The wifeís first Cubs game was a success. There was a cubs grand slam and they won. Iím glad we spent the money for the 1914 club tickets because without a couple of AC breaks and many bottles of water I would have been done by the 3rd inning.

Nice!

I think I've been to 5 Mariners games in the decade I lived here and they're 0-5 in them.
