Good old dirt track racing... Growing up we were invited to never come back to a few dirt tracks. The biggest event being:
* getting spun/wrecked by the locals 3 times in one night
*us getting black flagged for punting the guy that spun us twice already but, no one else getting similar treatment
* the third time he spun us killed the car so our race was over.
*My dad driving the hauler out onto the track during the caution, blocking the track and decrying "If we can't race no one can"
*Fist fight
*Escorted out by PA State police with directions to not return.

Good times

That's pretty awesome. Hey, do you know of anywhere they still do chain racing? I've been wanting to try it for years, but it mostly disappeared out west last time I looked.

I think it's pretty much a once year exhibition type thing at a lot of small tracks.

I wouldn't think it possible but, the movie might suck even harder than the car.

I wanted to get a light blue Saturn S and put a big wing on it for reasons. Dumb reasons.

Based on the previews, Geostorm the movie looks like it might be a Pontiac Aztec level of failure, without the resurgence when a meth chef drives one on a TV show and makes it "cool".

Do you think it is better to pin the throttle, get the wheel shooting up fast, and then ease off the throttle early to get it to stop at balance, or to use less throttle and get it up slower so it can be backed off right before balance? The guy says rip it, full throttle, but it seems harder to catch that way.

Also, confirmed the Legends circle class in LV next week, but we are going straight from the airport to the track to the airport. Otherwise I'd swing by and embarrass you in front of your friends.
