I think the STI wing would look good on the Lancer not sure on fitment though. I think originality would be a good reason for putting a STI wing on a Lancer or you could play follow the leader and go EVO wing. Then again you could also trade in for a civic if you want to be like everyone else.

Like asking why you would put an EVO spoiler on an OZ. To make it look faster than it is? Or do you like the look?

You wouldn't like it. The STI wing is not made of carbon fiber and is pretty weak structurally. In other words it flops and shakes when you go over bumps or in turbulence at higher speeds.

For a fact, the STi wing is known to be unstabe during high speed driving. According to the owners, it vibrates so violently it makes a disturbing flapping noise. Are you sure that's what you want? Plus, having a Subaru wing on your Mitsubishi is as bizzare as someone putting a "Type-R" badge on a Celica, or "VTEC" decal on a 240SX....

Usually, I'm all for originality and stuff... but I have to agree with you on this one: I think it would look... uh... well, let's say it would look a bit too original. Then again, it's just my opinion...
BTW: There are tons of aftermarket wings out there (some of better quality and for much less dough)... why not find one that matches your tastes and the car? Just a thought...
