ABOUT RALLYING AND THE CANADIAN ASSOCIATION OF RALLYSPORT:
************************************************** ********
Performance Rallying is considered by many as the most extreme form of automobile motorsport and it’s often described simply as “real cars, real roads, real fast.” This all-season motorsport sees drivers and their co-drivers taking modified street-legal cars to the absolute limit as they achieve blistering speeds over challenging closed-road courses that typically cover more than 170 kilometers of gravel, dirt or snow-covered roads. Fans can get up close to the cars in the service areas and catch all of the action from specially designated spectator points located at the best spots on the route with competitors often reaching speeds of well over 160 kph.
The Canadian Association of Rallysport (CARS) is the official sanctioning body for rallying in Canada and the premier rally series, the Canadian Rally Championship (CRC), comprising of six events across the country, spanning from the shores of the Atlantic Ocean in New Richmond, Quebec to the mountains of Merritt, British Columbia.

My pleasure...thanks for watching it.
As for Round#3 (Baie-Des-Chaleurs)...with everything that went down at the event, it is sure to be a spectacular broadcast when it airs on August 8th. In the meantime, the CARS & Mitsubishi post-event press releases are available at http://www.carsrally.ca and http://www.motorsport.com/news/artic...=376164&FS=CRC and here are some pictures/videos that portray some of what took place:

The 3rd round of the Canadian Rally Championship, Rallye Baie-Des-Chaleurs, which was held a month ago in Quebec (on the Atlantic coast) is being broadcast on TSN on August 8th at 10:30am, 1pm, 11:30pm (Central times) and will also be available for viewing at http://www.flatovercrest.com shortly thereafter. With exception of hitting a bridge guardrail and taking-out the left rear taillight/corner, we were a lot better off than most of the others that did finish. Nevertheless, the car did take a thrashing with the extremely rough stages:

Finally, while scouring the net following the event, I came across a few cool videos of us from last September, which will give you a good idea how crazy the Quebec fans are
