Winter Tire Discount

for fellow canuckians, blizzaks are up to $200 off apparently before the 31st if you buy a set of 4. i called the local dealer, and he quoted me $300 CAN/tire. includes install, but no wheels. seems a little steep no? 245/40/18. he said moving down to 235 ain't gonna make a dent in the price too much.

i'm in the markham area...suggestions?

300 CAN/tire!? I know we're different in dollar values, but not that different. I'm paying about 500 for 4 235/40/18 Blizzak LM25s with shipping, tax, and install all included. Shop around, see if any local car guys have hookups. I got mine through a resident S2k enthusiast.

^ 17s dont fit on the Evo X.

$1150 for Blizzaks are a pretty good deal. Don't forget, we have the tire recycling tax now.

A few guys have already moved in on this, but I mentioned that the brokered deal for our club is 1625 Installed, Taxes in, (TOTAL PRICE)

245 40 18 Dunlop SP WINTER SPORT M3 with 18" Primax 009 Gunmetal Rims $1625 Installed.

Its not blizzaks but the M3 rivals in performance.

PM me if your interested and I will check to see if our sources have more stock

In GTA I recommend 3 places...

SimplyTire
Tires23
Steelcase Tires and Mags

Google them. Have had great service and prices at all. I recommend Hankook W300 Winterbear for performance winters and W409 iPike for deep snow. Get them SOON though.

Just picked up a set of Blizzak WS60 with steel rims (205/60R16) for $790 (final price after all taxes) today from Rim & Tire Pro.

Tires23 had the same package for $910+taxes. Simplytire was quoting a similar price.

i just picked up the new Falken Eurowinters for 1010$ mounted and balanced. 235/45/17

awesome tires, especially in the rain, cant wait to try it out in the snow.

theres a bunch of tires on clearance on tirerack also, you can get some for like 80$ a piece, but prepare for 200+$ shipping to bring it into canada lol.

and after inspecting my front tires, i noticed that i have a chip out of my front brembos from them mounting the tires on! Big O tires = fail.
