I'd be into it, actually, but it would have to be on a weekend.
And I only care about RCs in the work truck. They are not a problem in the evo lol

That is a good idea. A long weekend would be the perfect time to do it, but when's the next long weekend? May long?

Well, there's Easter Monday on April 21, but maybe Victoria day on may 19 would be better, the weather should be much warmer then.

Right. So I guess our two choices would be Easter weekend or May long weekend? I do agree that it would be much warmer during the May long.

I vote May long as well. If any of you guys are part of Alberta Evolution, you should suggest the trip there too. I'm sure a lot more people would want in

Well, got 3 days so..
Day 1, head south on hwy 2 past Calgary towards crowsnest pass to see the rock slide. Keep heading west on hwy 3 to Castlegar, Nakusp, or Nelson.. Stay the night (all depends how long you wanna drive).
Day 2, from where we stayed the night head out to Jasper.
Day 3, Jasper to Edmonton with a stop at the hot springs.

Thoughts? Any one know of things to do or see on the way?
Are you bringing your wife's, girlfriends, husband's or strippers?
I'm sure my wife will be coming along.

I was actually thinking a route just like that. If I find a buddy or someone who wants to come along, I'll bring someone. Otherwise, I'll go out on my own.

I don't quite know scenic areas since I'm only 18 and haven't been around west other than Jasper a whole lot, but I know the Columbia icefields are really cool to see.

there is a scenic route if u type it into google maps and then click the option avoid highway's. it takes u through the Colombian ice fields, there's a ferry in there somewhere. Pretty good route but I'm good with anything

That sounds like a good route. We could go south through red deer, banff, and so on and use the scenic route on the way back. Or vice versa.
