Graeme: i like how you used the word "feel" in quotations...

the fact of the matter is that you are right...and that "feel" your getting is your minds subcouncious protecting you from insanity because you just paid $.89/L for gas that didnt do you any good. If you want that "feel" of performance in your car then do some mods. If you want to use 94 oct. (sunoco) or whatever premium is anywhere else (91 i think) then go to the RMR site and buy a ECU. its only 439 USD if you dont mind wasting your money on unnesserarry gas then you might as well spend it on something productive

*note* im speaking generally not directing to anyone in particular

Woowoo!! And remember...higher octane gas ISN'T like the flow, yo...

Oh, as a sidenote, 89c/L is what we can sometimes expect to pay for 87 octane gas, but it usually resides around 75~78c. Last summer was tough on me, even on 91 octane. At it's peak it $1.047/L. That was NOT fun. I was thinking of getting a summer beater

I personally like 94 octane... the only time I ever put **** gas is when I'm running low in cash... the ride feels much rougher on 87... and I do feel the difference...
so yes, I would "waste" my money on 94...
