2nd oil change at 10 000 km

For those with a 03 Lancer, how much was it for your second oil change? (at 10 000km)...The dealer told me it was $89...WTF, I thought it was like $30-$40...

Also, how much was your subsequent check ups and at what km...just so I don't have to ask again

i've never paid more than $35 for oil changes. did they do any other fluid changes?

where did you get it done, and what does your service receipt say?

You're getting charged for the oil change + Tire rotation + something else. That's probably why the price is that high

I didn't get it done yet...just asked for the price...The woodbridge dealership said they will check/replace all fluids, engine oil, filter, brake pads, roate tires....I asked the mississaga one and they said around $65.....

and tire rotation? I can do that myself!!!

First one is free if your salesman'll pay for it. Second service (for us) is oil change (~$35) tire rotate (~$35) for a total of $70-ish.

Changing oil is very simple as long as you have the room to do it.
Spend 15-20.

stock is 10-30, when people ask what they should run if they want to treat their cars really well, I tell them that I run Mobil1 5-30 in my Talon because
A)It reduced lifter tick
B)If a Viper or a Vette will use it, I'm good for it too.

I haven't reached 10000 yet but I don't expect to pay more than $40. Mr Lube will be $50 or less (no tire rotation but they do check your fluids including your water bottle
I believe the manual service schedule does include tire rotation but you can do that yourself as you said.
How about asking our friends at Cooksville Mitsu? Or wait until the May 8th meet and have it done then.
