Ryan's Evolution IX MR

I figured I would just make a thread for all my pictures and such instead of clogging up evo roll call.

From the Beginning:

Wired up the DRLs for temp inspection:

Turned out the previous owner had the springs installed an never got an alignment done. The 1200 mile drive back completely wore out the insides of the front tires. So I picked these up today off a buddy from the Subaru forums for $480:

Also picked up some detailing supplies to give me something to do while it's in the garage.

Inspection is tomorrow so hopefully everything goes alright. DRLS, removed window tint, and new tires. I think that pretty much covers it.

Cheers :mitsu:

hey ryan.

i hope the inspection goes well for you.

how did the wiring of drl's go?

off topic... i finished wiring my boost gauge. the oil pressure is almost done. the sensor included in the package is too small for the bolt where it needs to be installed. i think i need an adapter for it.

The wiring was pretty easy. I just tapped it into the small fuse for the radio power in the engine bay fuse box.

I take it you are just tapping into a gally plug or sandwich adapter?

Congrats on the car.

If I found a EVO IX with that mileage on it...I would have jump on it in a heartbeat.

Mine has 5,342 on it and I bought it with 2,536. Only cost me 20,500.
