Several dealers I have talked to are confident that it is coming. I don't know how reliable this info.

Obviously the front bumper needs to be modified to meet Canadian crash standards (I wonder if this adds major weight and ugly - let's hope it's easily unboltable). The other rumours I've heard are more power than current Evo (but no exact figure) and a price similar to he STI. It sounded like this was going to be an 8.5 revision. Proposed arrival in the showrooms: February or March 2004.

There is several dealers I've HEARD of In canada selling modded EVO's that are legal in canada, though I know FOR SURE One in B.C is selling a legalized evo in B.C, tho its gonna run you about 54k.

I went to a dealership a few days a go and he told me it wouldn't be before fall 2004 as a 2005 model. No info about being more powerful than the current USDM Evo or about being a 8.5 (which would kick ass anyway :P ---- thunder gray and aluminum roof!!!!) Pricing should be about 40-45K without the CF and sunroof options. That's what I've got for now...

I believe that any decent red-blooded Canuk can import an Evo from the US without any major problems.

ya I think its possible to do it.... but who wants to go through all that trouble when it might be coming soon enough?
