A place in Ontario to replace ACD/AYC pump fluid with winter-friendly Redline D4
 

As we know, the factory fill (Dia Queen ATF SP III) in the ACD/AYC pump gets really thick in Canadian winters, which is a cause to the pump's failure. It is not easy to DIY the pump's fluid replacement, so I found a Mitsubishi dealer here that is quite proficient at this.

^ Picked up 2 bottles of Redline D4 ATF at a local store, which seem to be our community's favourite.

^ Took out the old fluids. Left is ACD/AYC pump fluid after 50,000 km (30,000 miles). Right is power steering after 100,000 km (60,000 miles), which I'm also changing on the side.

^ The dealer took less than a hour to have the ACD/AYC pump fluid replaced. They say they do this a couple of times every week. I also chatted with their service manager and master tech. I learned that there is sometimes water condensation inside the ACD/AYC hydraulic system, and for this reason some people replace their fluids as frequently as annually. This contradicts the previous thoughts that replacing the ACD/AYC pump fluid is not a useful preventive maintenance.

By the way, my ACD/AYC pump was recently down. So it was replaced, thank Mitsubishi!!!
