Who can do it?

Anyone have enough balls to try the blacked out headlights (JDMish thing) [ https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/at...chmentid=37862 ]

I want it but I'm a little nervous about melting my lights and ****ing them up.

Anyone wan't to do it for me?

How To Linky

As soon as I have a spare full day on a weekend, I'm going to do mine, and if all goes well, cih's in line to get his done. It's just that between dragon boat, adventure racing, softball league, and summer in general there's never a Saturday or Sunday that goes without me needing my car.

Also, not to mention that my last deal to get spare lights went sour, lost quite a bit of money, so I don't have spares to try it on.

Yay, go me.

Its always about your sports and activities with you isnt it. What about F4 time. Dont you care about us? [scarsasm]

Danno Jun 23, 2004 09:07 AM

Why dont we all get togeather one weekend and have a big light session

jtc Jun 23, 2004 09:30 AM

Ok Noel, sorry, forgot. Anyway, don't you want me to test mine out first, in case it fails? Better than all four of us baking the crap out of our lights, messing them all up and having 4 cars out of commission. :P

I've done headlights for my Acura 1.6 EL before. That should be similar to do. I'll help you do it
as long as I'm not working on the weekend.

Danno Jun 23, 2004 10:08 AM

sounds good. I like J's idea of using his car as a tester.

jtc Jun 23, 2004 10:12 AM

Ok. Noel, I get one of the bikini girls if the headlight mod helps you win @ Darknights.

If I'm free on this weekend that you are talking about, I wouldn't mind learning how you do it too, and perhaps get mine done as well.

enjoku Jun 23, 2004 10:46 AM

You dont need to put it in the oven though. A heat gun would be fine.

cih Jun 23, 2004 11:34 AM

i tried with a heat gun.. i did it about half way and made a mess.

lancerCANADA Jun 23, 2004 12:30 PM

ok ill bring the ready bake oven that my sister got 15 years ago will that work

jtc Jun 23, 2004 12:54 PM

Anyway, back on topic, let's figure out a weekend. I'm adventure racing this Saturday, maybe free Sunday, next few weekends I'm busy until the afternoons, but evenings should be okay, all the way up to Montreal on the 23,24,25, which most of us are busy either going there or other stuff.

What's everyone else's schedule like? As long as we have the heat gun, we could all meet up at Cooksville, even do it on the day of the mini-meet.

cih Jun 23, 2004 01:04 PM

that will take too long.
