Have a 2012 GSR.
Totally stock except for Stage 1 v403 map.


Map is fine from a power perspective.


What does seem to be happening is that the revs hang.
You rev the car and the revs don't drop like you would expect.


Even at idle, you rev it up and rather than dropping back down immediately like the stock map, the revs stay high. It'll take a few seconds to drop down to ~1k idle, and will even hover around 2K for a second or two on the way down.


Even changing gear, the revs stay up high between gears.


Anyone else seeming similar behavior from these maps?
It's very bloody annoying......

Common issue on drive by wire throttle cars. It's happened on stock cars.

Where did you even get that map? There not on the Cobb site, and when I asked them, they said they no longer provide Stage I maps beyond the archived 1.08s?

My car would do the same thing 12' GSR. I only ran the map for one trip and haven't messed with it since. I'm curious about that. Its also stock

My 2010 did this stock, Cobb stage 2, and custom tune. Still does it to this day. I am not aware of a fix.

I seem to remember this issue getting a lot better with my AMS STX300 tune. Most noticeable was a better feeling clutch engagement when up-shifting. I'm moving on with mods so the map/ap combo is for sale if anyone is interested. PM me
