Can they track flashes with the Cobb Access port on 08 GSR? I still have 20k+ on my powertrain that I don't want to void

 

You'll be fine. If you're paranoid about it just flash back to stock before going in for service.

 

My concern is if they can keep track of flashing it back and forth. Would you recommend an Cobb AP? I've read a lot of really positive things about them, and I know you are particular with what you do with your car.

 

The Mitsubishi ECU engineers in Japan can track the number of times your ECU has been flashed, but dealerships can not. This is not something you need to be concerned about.

I use and recommend the Cobb Accessport; it's been on my car since November 2010 and I have nothing but good things to say about it and Cobb's tuning.
