Breaking up at high rpms

Hi all,

I just installed a downpipe-back exhaust and Ive been trying a few maps but all of them I have been breaking up/stuttering at like 5500+. Mods are k&n drop in, perrin upper pipe and the 3" dp back. Before the exhaust i was running either the stage1 93 v200 or stage 1 93 hks with good results

I have tried stage 2 93 v200 and stage2 93 hks. If Im worried about running lean is reasonable to assume the 91 tune would run a bit rich with 93oct?

I will try to get some logs up, i havent logged with the ap yet.

Or you can run the LWG map. Plus is the boost pill still in? But you really need to log to see whats going on. But do you have a boost gauge installed? If so were you seeing any spikes above 25psi. Plus did you add a test pipe or high flow cat. Just curious. And running a 91 map should richen you up a bit. Maybe you got some bad gas in the car now.

boost pill is still in. I have a defi boost gauge. Its not reading too high above 25, maybe 26ish in 4th gear. Its a test pipe.

Im reading up on what to log now.

Check your fuel pump relay and FPR vacuum line.

I had the exact same issue except I ran the stage 2 and was breaking up around 5500 rpm's and it turned out to be the fuel pump relay...
