2011 MR AP mod questions

So I want to get the cobb ap. Wanting to buy an exhaust this week, I have a K&N typhoon intake and uicp installed. Just wondering what map I should run after I buy the exhaust? Thinking catback with test pipe. Thoughts? Thanks alot in advance for the help.

install stage 2 with stock intake do some logging send the logs to BakaUnchi and he can help you fine tune the map for your car.

didn't you just say your installing a catback along with your k&N intake?
catback + intake is stage 2. do some logging and send your logs in. jon might help you adjust your maps to your car.

Catback + Intake still stage 1? Or should I just wait to install exhaust until I have a turboback setup?

My understanding is whether you have a test pipe or the stock cat is the most important difference for stage 1 vs. 2.

This is def not true.. There is a regular, non intake, stage 2 map

Cobb has said CBE is enough for stage 2 map and there are folks who flash stage 2 bone stock because they don't like the stage 1.

Stage 2 basically is adapted to higher exhaust flow so I would think worst case using it with more restrictive exhaust is less power.

The other way would be more dangerous - giving too much air to a tune that cant compensate and disabling the safety net code for too much air.

This one also isn't right.. Cobbs "test pipe" is a high flow cat (I have it), so technically a "proper" Cobb stage 2 (all cobb parts) is still catted

no, a high flow cat is way different than a stock cat.
From what i've read, you do not run stage 2 with stock cat, period
