So after all the waiting Cobb releases V3 with full Evo X support for the 2011+ models. That's great news but I see now that they no longer offer for these models a Stage 1+ tune for their SF intake.

The link for the SF Intake tune takes you to their Stage 3 tune which requires a turbo back and their boost controller solenoid in addition to the intake. I only have the filter, intake, UICP and a turboback exhaust. Sounds like I may be out of luck for now.

Will they work with an intake only setup like they have in the past? or do I need to save buying it for when I accumulate the rest of the mods needed to run Stage 3?

 

All you're missing is their 3-port BCS to run the stage 3.

 

Yes but they used to not need that.. Also don't I need more exhaust upgrades as well? I hate to have to go back to stock airbox (which is broken anyway) to run this..

 

You said you already have the turboback...what more is there to need?

 

Aw crap now I see the problem. I have a catback not a turboback. Sorry for the confusion.
