CobbAP Stage 3 not hitting target

Hi all,

I was running a stage 1+CHFF LWG, no major issues (hardly any knock) except boost would spike to 27 while the target is 24.5 psi.
So I just installed the cobb ebcs, along with cobb dp and HFC, and plugged in the stage 3 v403 maps.
I tried stage 3 LWG first since I had the issue with boost spikes previously, and did a few runs but could not get boost past 19.
Remapped to regular stage 3 91oct and can only hit 22 psi. Target for this map is 26.5.
I don't believe its a leak since i can boost way higher on lower maps.
Has anyone else had this issue with stage 3?

I know the suggestion from most will be "get a pro-tune". So on that note does anyone have any experiences to share about JC Tuning in long island? I live in NYC and they are the closest (by far) cobb pro-tuners.

thanks for any info!

If you haven't done a boost leak test, start there.

If you were boosting fine before the mods... take a step back and think about what was changed:

1) Exhaust work - Not likely to effect your boost levels
2) Stage 3 tune - Yes, but not likely due to widespread use
3) EBCS - Yes, and will create boost leak if not properly installed

In short, I would review your boost control install, making sure it is wired correctly and snugly.

Check your new EBCS. The 3 port is plumbed as #3 is supply from the turbo, #2 is to the actuator, and #1 is on the BOV.

I just got my grimpspeed ebcs and went to stage 3 cobb AP OTS map. Now I'm also under boost. Checked all of work it's look okay. At stage 2 with stock solenoid I get 26 psi on 3rd gear pull. Now barely make 23. Look like people talks about tweaking the wastage and boost correction. Would be nice if some show the general idea what number to change first. I already got ATR luckily I save the software.

Correct on 2 accounts, but #1 is vented, or recirculated back into the intake.
It doesn't go to the BOV under any circumstance.
