Cobb AP V3: STFT, LTFT and AFR's

I drive a '13 GSR with the K&N Panel filter and Stage1 93 v403 map with the MAF scaling numbers for the panel filter.

From what I've been reading I understand there is a way to get relatively accurate readings on AFRs by combining the STFT and LTFT numbers.

My question is, which trim readings should I combine? and are these readings only useful when doing a WOT pull?

I basically want to be able to know what my AFRs are without installing a gauge. If its possible at all.

Thanks

Get your LTFT to zero.

Your STFT will then be essentially how much rich or lean you're running from your requested.

A gauge is a much better option but your fuel trims will give you a very generalized idea.

So will I be using the Cruise LTFT? and to get it to zero I just reset the monitor on the AP?

Once I do this I would just add the two percentages up?

Thanks again

You get long term fuel trims to zero by correcting your MAF incrementally until it's very close to perfect.

Resetting the monitor just starts monitoring again and initially it may be zero but will change depending how close to perfect your MAF scaling is.

How to lower down the LTFT low and LTFT mid, so that the ECU hits the target AFRs at idle and cruising till 100 load cells.

Step by step explanation will help not familiar with MAF scaling and smoothing or how it works.
