My friend was the camera man. I was the the loser freezing his *** off NEXT to the camera man making comments like "Whoo! EVO Versus STI!!!"....but of course Charles likes to edit my awesome commentary out of his videos. lol

I'm really proud of him myself. (him = Charles/ct9agsr). Every time he ran, he did better and better. He learned ALOT about his car that night, and after a few runs, he learned how to launch the car with minimal clutch-slipping, and STILL pull off a great time.

High five to my man for that.

And MAN I love riding shotgun in that thing. ^_^

Nice run...The Evo had a slower reaction time than the STI but still managed to pull high 12's. a better reaction time would defenitly be in the mid to low 12's.

again, reaction time has nothing to do with your ET.

reaction time is anticipation of the green light. You can see the STi driver did a better job of hitting it as soon as the light went green.

I dont' have the timeslip from that STi race anymore... however, on a different race where I ran a 12.824 @ 106.44mph (very similar times to that STi race), I had a 60' of 1.934. My fastest 60' of that night was vs the 440whp Supra @ 1.754.

Question

thanks alot for tha info. so my theory is correct based on your mph vs mine. for every tenth i drop on the 60ft gives me a net gain of about 2 tenths on the top end meaning that if i go from 2.225 60ft to let's say a 1.8, then i should be running a 12.82 at about the same speed or slightly faster. correct me someone if i'm wrong...

thats aweful bro. you should run better than that with even a 1.9 60' time. i think a 1.9 can be achieved by leaving like you do at a redlight.

i ran a 12.4@108 with a 1.7 60' time. you should def be in the 12s with your trap.

i know that's what i say. i do know that at the other track here in phx (Speedworld) people are running .5 seconds faster tha at firebird. i haven't went there yet cuz it's about an hour away & i run 101 octane only ($4.99/gallon) so i don't drive too far + i didn't have a helmet (nhra rule on 13.99 or faster) so i got kicked off after waiting 2 1/2 hrs to do 1 run. will try again this friday now that i have a helmet.
