Well yesterday driving home from a long day I noticed a supra in my neighborhood. He was a couple blocks away from where I was. Trying to see if I could catch up I noticed he gave me the lane when I rolled next to him. We finally met at a stop sign and I gave him the thumbs up cuz I always admired Supras. I gradually let off the clutch as if I was driving normal then suddenly I here the Supra at full throttle leaving the stop sign. IT'S ON! Since he got the jump I was about a half car behind him. Shifting through the gears I jump a car lenth ahead of him hearing both our BOV like music to your ears. Then when I knew I had him I let of the gas and gave the thumbs up. So I missed my turn to my house so I decided to stop the guy and talk to him. Happens to be he lives around that area for a while. When talking to him he never knew the potential of an EVO. He told me he spanks WRX's and STi's all day and was surprised on the outcome of our little race. He thought he had me. It was pretty funny cuz now he wants to do a little bit more up moddin' so he won' t lose again. He was a cool guy though. I guess til next time

I hope your tread doesn't get closed but unless he was stock and you heavily modded I don't see you beating a TT supra on the roll but then again anything can happen on the streets

 

Both of us was slightly modded. I have an intake, BOV, DP, cat back, cams and cam gears, and flash. What I could see from him is intake, BOV, DP, cat back, upper and lower intercooler piping, FMIC, and boost controller.

interesting. i think it was a drivers race but he would have had an advantage. you should be both close to 350whp. guess you were alot better driver than he was.

 

personally i wouldnt mess with a modded supra unless i had some serious sh*t under the hood. i mean i love my evo,but the supra deserves a lot of respect.
