Yah, I wish I could shift to 5th, but that kills the et/mph. The one time I tried, I got a 12.34@105.9, which was 4-5 mph lower than all my other runs, but the ET was still right there with the rest. Who knows if that would have been my best run of the day if I stayed in 4th or not? What I learned is that the 6spd MRs will be severely hampered in their quest for 11s. I would have been able to do it with maybe just adding a test pipe from a power standpoint, but with the gearing, I don't think I'll ever do it...not worth the abuse to the car to keep trying to eek out milliseconds.

S-AFC has never done timing, but "advanced tuning" of the S-AFC includes monitoring your timing and adjusting the S-AFC so that the timing curve responds accordingly. In other words, I had to make adjustments that didn't necessarily give me the perfect AFR, but that gave me a perfect timing curve. This resulted in amazing power gains with non-optimal AFRs that were on the rich side...
