You have a reflash? If not, you need a tune of somekind.

Your times are not on par with others with similiar or even less mods. You should be in the 12s and you should be trapping atleast 4MPH higher. I'm not sure if you are tuned for those parts, but if not, your going to need to get tuned (especially for that intake). Also the weather right now seems to be very hot around the country, and your from texas, I'm sure it's pretty hot there too. Last thing is you need to work on launching and shifting. A 1.9 60ft is not really that good. The good thing is that there is room for improvement, and I'm sure 12s are around the corner for you.

THen there was really no sense in going to the track or asking us for help.

You have all those mods, many of which are close to useless on the stock turbo, and you don't have the 2 most important mods: driver and tuning.

13.3 at 104 is exactly what I'd expect from that list of mods...

Why? Because you said so. At least when he goes to the track after the cams and tune he can see the difference they made.

What was the sense in you going to the track stock if you planned on modding? Is this what your essentially saying or am I misinterpreting you?

I went to get a baseline before mods and to see if I could hit 12s stock, because I fully believe the MR is capable of it. I failed due to a 1.92 60' on the stock limiter, but 13.1 was good enough as a starting point.

I then added mods in stages and hit the track accordingly. I showed a clear gain each time that was also backed by dyno'ing on the same dyno.

Stock - 13.1 at 104 (248/238) in 60 degrees
Stage 1 (+S-AFC) - 12.8 at 106 in 70 degrees
Stage 2 (+cat-back/mbc/mr dv) - 12.6 at 108 on 93oct (282/260), 12.2 at 109-110 on 104/93 mix in 80 degrees
Stage 3 (+dp/tp/walbro/act) - 12.1 at 111 on 116/93 mix in 95 degrees

Note that I started with tuning first, because it's the most important. I didn't add several thousand dollars worth of mods, most of which were not helpful, and run around untuned then go to the track and perform at/near stock levels before tuning. He won't see his true gain with the cams, because he'll get an equal or greater gain from the tune itself. I do understand not wanting to pay for 2 flashes, but then again, that's why I tune myself.

You feel that tuning is most important. That is your opinion, remember that. Dont go pushing your views around on people. The driver mod is the most important if you want to get the best out of the vehicle. In my opinion of course. When you say perform at or near stock levels, for some reason you always assume perfect track conditions and excellent driver. Its not gonna be like that 99% of the time. Here in Vegas, its hard as hell to get good times. Our density altitude can be as high as 5000 feet, almost a mile high. Times do suffer here. 370 awhp here for an EVO equates to a low 12 second time slip. I'm sure there are people who have run nearly a half second quicker with the same power.

Hell I've seen my friend lose 4 tenths of second in back to back Midnight Mayhems because of the humidity. He was pulling the same 60 foots, but his time suffered because of the weather.

The elevation in Lubbock is around 3300ft and usually the density altitude is around 5000-6000ft.

tuning is very important.. just look at my mods and i can can only run a 13.2 @104.. i just dyno'ed the car i have 275 torque, 256 horse.. a/f at 10-0.. very rich, very conservitive tune.. yes i get 30 mpg, but the car has no power above 4500 rpm.. i hit full torque at 3900 rpms.. so get tuned.. here is my mods.. what a joke... its hard to find someone around here who can tune an autronic.. so i know its aggravating not running right..

rvm upper and lower i/c pipes, 338.45
ngk br7's, 13.00
walbro 255, 90.00
dhl s.s. header, 599.00
dhl s.s big o2 housing, 285.00
ghl s.s 3 inch turbo back no cat, 895.00
all silicone vacuum hoses, 25.00
autronic stand-alone, 1900.00
hks evc b/c, 400.00

yeah, tuning is all you need...
flash, xede, stand alone or piggyback from a capable tuner.
you've installed all these mods in your car and the car's ecu doesn't know how to take advantage of it.
