C16 vs. CAM2 red (116) & AFR
Is Sunoco CAM2 red (116 octane) pretty comparable to VP C16? I know that the C16 is a little higher octane, but is it about the same in performance?
Warrtalon found that he had to pull more fuel with leaded 116 than 104 unleaded to get a similar AFR, as measured from the stock O2 sensor. Is that what most people find? Is the leaded gas denser?

-Can't tell accurate AFR with a stock O2 sensor.
-Fuels have the "octane" rating. The higher the octane, the lower propensity it has to knock. Lead in fuel is an anti-knock supplement.
-Higher octane fuels are less denser (lower SFG) than those with a lower octane rating - so in actuality, the car should run slightly leaner on the 116 than the 104.
The reason why he had "to pull more" on the higher octane gas is due to the fact that you can run leaner with it since it has a higher resistance to knock.
