Just for shiats and giggles I was wondering what the quickest stock motor car has run. The best I know of is a 10.8x (Cosmo) and he rebuilt it shortly thereafter. Anyone got that beat?

 

Dont know about 1/4 times, but I know this is surely up there or a record for a stock block/pump gas.

Thats good ol Ivey. It is with Meth I presume you know. Ive decided I dont like dynos anyways. Ill do my car the Shep way... measure the HP at the track Ive just seen so many stupid things about Dynos and the more and more I read about them the more I figure out they are only good for dialing in the car. You shouldnt even bother looking at the numbers except to see if what your doing to the car is helping or not. Ive seen so many dyno runs where they enter the Evo weight at 3550lbs.... Not gonna be too accurate if you ask me. Since a stock Evo weighs right around the 3300lb mark but right when you do an exhaust and its closer to the 3250 range. Some peoples weigh less but for some reason, regardless of the true weight the dyno peoples seem to always want to enter 3550lbs??
