Finally went back to the track but...

I drove up to Moroso on Saturday to qualify for the NHRA Sport Compact event this weekend.

Drove 100 miles from Miami to Moroso. As soon as I got there I went straight to the pumps. Got some c16 and made the line for a few runs. As soon as I made the line my problems started... Somehow my car was not able to go pass 5.5k RPM which is my launch setting. I think I may have damaged the VSS when I did the tranny. I have been having this problem on and off for a while now. It always seems to hit me at the worst possible times. I also was running the stock ignition because my DSM igniter for the MSD-DIS2 died on me a few weeks ago.

Well I made two HORRIBLE runs since the ignition/revlimit was not working. On my third run I finally got the damn thing to work. This was with racegas in the tank but I did not get the chance to make changes to my tune. This is the tune I use daily on just 93 pump. I had no alky installed because it is not allowed in the Sport RWD class.

The rest of my runs were garbage... I was either having problems with the 5.5k revlimit or my ignition was breaking up.

oh yeah I was on the right lane car number 0025. that was my only good run and it just happened to be against an STI I bet after watching my first two horrible runs he thought he was going to spank me. He got a huge suprise.
