1st gear noise during launch

When I launch my car I hear a vibration type sound which does not seem to effect the runs or the 60ft'. I am curious if anyone else has heard this type of vague noise. Basically it sounds like the the car is fighting to grap. I have a twin disc and my first thought is that it is the clutch. Of the strip no problems no noises.

I know my description is somewhat vague but there has got to be others that have heard this while launching. I did not hear it in my 03, I know have an 05' so could it be the limited slip?

Are you sure it's not your clutch? I know that the twin disc are known for being loud.
Could be a possibility...

It may very well be the clutch??? heating up??? It is a twin disc exedy and I never ever hear the noise except on a launch at the drag strip and believe it or not it is not every launch. When I hear the noise I honestly believe it is not slowing the car down at all, I am just concerned that it could be a noise that with preventive messures could be corrected. If it is the clutch I can deal with that abuse.
