I appreciate the offer but with the amount of Solo 2 and road racing I plan on doing, I would like to keep the 6 speed...just with a different gear set I plan on hopefully doing the Silver State Classic or another high speed event at some point so it would be nice to be able cruise at a decent RPM (160 - 170mph)

I plan on getting another set of Gram Lights with drag radials in a taller size which should drop my 60' considerably and help my gearing a bit too.

 

What were the revs at in 4th on the 116 pass? All the gear calculators show the RPMs would only be 7,800

8,200 shows 123ish.

 

The RPM according to the AEM at 116 is 7,900. I know the speed is off on the AEM but no sure how much and which way. At 8000 it was 117.5. I may try it again and set my rev limiter at 8,200 to see what it does. Would be nice if I could keep it in fourth and pull 121 - 122 traps.
