last event we placed second overall, losing to a high power GT35R civic(red intec hatch driven by ty) in the Street trim turbo class. we ran a 12.2 and he ran a 11.8.

well the 12th they had another round, we met my rival in the round before the finals this time(red intec hatch driven by ty left lane)... ended up like this.

there were 3-4 more evo's there, one was a silver one with AMS GT35R and more AMS parts running 11.7-11.9ish. i met him along with a nice guy in a black 05 that had TBE and MBC, was running 12.7's..

the silver evo with gt35r ended up losing to the other intec hatch driven by stefan. Video Silver Evo Vs Stefan 11 Second Cars Battle!

stefan ended up beating Ty in the finals 11.6 to 11.7(both intec hatches). Ty actually ran the faster time but stefan had better R/T, and its a heads up racing event.

man.... 120+ trap speeds and it can only break high 11's!!! no traction....

 

when is pacific the quietest?? I hate going up there and waiting in line for 2 hours before I get one run in!!!!!!!! Dont they do test and tune some Wed and Fridays????

 

You say that as tho everyone who runs traps of 120+ should be in the 10's. its not that easy. go try it sometime

 

your 120.8 and that Civics 126.9 are two different things.

ya those civic's were trapping anywhere from 118 to 126, and stefan trapped at 130 in the video i posted vs the silver evo. you can hear the tires squeeling at like the 8th mile lol... usually you dont see them running that consistant so i had hope... but they were running 11's all day, no busted parts no mis-shifts.

Pacific didnt have that many cars at all, we were able to run 5 times in 3 hrs and could have got more runs in at the end but we were too hungry and didnt feel like beatin on the car anymore.

video's were takin on my sony 3.2mp digital camera so they arent they best, but you get the point.

So how good of a track is it there? I would like to take a trip over in that direction later in the year to see what I can run at a decent prepped track at sea level. Whats the elev. at and what kind of times do people put up compaired to other tracks in Seattle and Portland?

 

track is pretty good nowa days. i think its around sea level... i havent ran at other places to compared my times to pacific, but the track seems to be right on.

 

When does it close for the year? I might have to plan a trip later on. Let me know if there is anything going on that you guys are planning on going to at the end of Summer.

Yeah, Pac Raceways is a good track, i think close to 600' above see level. The best time to go and get a lot of runs is on Wednesday TNT's of course.. I got 11 runs in last week..

Good to see the evo turn out, too bad i heard your boy with the silver evo is an azz and that he talks **** about NWE. I'm not even in NWE, but i wouldn't bash anyone with an evo. I love the evo community, i hate to hear **** like this. Go buy an M3 .

Edit: Oh the track actually sucks at sunset because the sun sets on the end of the strip and you can't see ANYTHING, esspecially the tree. Bring a picknic and bust it out for that hour.
