9.8 @ 151.09 mph at DSM Shootout
Today I was mostly taking it easy trying to reach my 4th final in Evo Eliminator class at the shootout
after my battery was dead and my car did not start for the final - murphy's law - I did one exhibition pass
60 ' 1.546
330 4.34
1/8 6.49 @ 115
1,000 8.310
1/4 9.812 @ 151.09
I added about 75 lbs since my last outing at Norwalk with a full 10 pt cage - parachute mount and catch tray
I am hoping to reach a 9.5 at 155 with 3200 lbs and street class legal by years end
Thanks to Buschur Racing for all the help and support

****, I wish I had known about your battery issue... I had my "jump pack" portable battery with me at the shoot out, and could have had your car started as fast as I could get the pack to you if I had known
Good exhibition pass though!
What was it that flew off your car on that one run you made? I was worried for a second there, but you finished that pass with no other problems.

I have been working on keeping the car from transfering weight on the launch and one of the side effects is when I lift for the 2 - 3 shift the front end comes down hard and apparently with the speed the tire expands enough to grab the inner fender liner
The fact that it only happens on my side may have something to do with my 300 lbs !
It makes quite a BANG when it tears off the inner of the fender and gets thrown under the car and under the back tire
I am not a sane person so I don't lift if I am behind in a race no matter what happens !
