Anyone flat-drag on dirt?

I was asked by a friend to do some Flat-drags in the dirt, 300yards? as a Exibition type deal, for their 4X4 racing. Last one of the season is tonight. there are no big rocks on the track, and it is "smooth". Sounds like fun, after all Evos are "dirt friendly". I just want to know if I should take some extra precautions as to not sandblast the hell out of my car.

Has anyone done this? was the "dammage" worth the fun? thanks in advance.
