My buddy just ran a 11.57 at 118 on stock turbo and basic bolt ons tbe/272cams/intake/fmic/lower ic/fuel pump/MBC/race gas tuned with dsm link. I just thought thats pretty impressive how many others are running those type of times with such little mods?

Wait a minute dsmlink is only available on 1g or 2g diamond star vehicles and i dont think that any 1g or 2g can run mid 11's on the stock 14b or t25

What year Evo was this on? I have pretty much the same mods on an '03 and ran the time in my sig on a mail-in flash. Just got ECUflash so hopefully the time will be going lower next year!

You can convert a 95 EPROM ECU into a V/// but not into a IX to use DSMLink. Which is a great product. I use it on my low 11 sec 1g. Self Tuned. I would buy it for the EVO if a EVOLink were to come out.

It's all in the launch and shifting you could run a 11.5 with a lower trap than that.

Man....Those are some good numbers. Tell your friend to keep up the good work. Lets see a time slip. I think that it is possible but I don't think that he is going to be able to get an more out of it. Pretty impressive. He must also be a good driver.

+2, my car runs consistant 118-119 traps and low 11.7's with crappy 1.7's in the '60 department. All this with a GSR with very little weight reduction.
