I must say watching you drive was probably the most fun on that cold *** saturday. You drove the wheels of that car.

It's too bad because my reaction time was nearly perfect on that run too! I'm happy my car turned such a great time, but am upset I didn't win the whole thing because first place in the bracket racing class was an Exedy twin disc. Oh well.

Here is some information about my car:

2005 Evo 8 w/49K miles

Pump gas with no alky or meth injection
Stock and untouched 16G turbo
Cusco Twin Disc
Dynoflash Mail-In Flash
HKS 264/272
ARP Head Studs
Buschur Race FMIC
HKS RS Intake
QTP Electric Exhaust Cutout
BFG Drag Radials in 225/45/17 on the stock rims

Race weight was 3140 this time (had a little more fuel in the car this time plus I put a second Recaro Pole Position in so friends can ride with me now)

Timeslips and vids to follow.
Congrats

I am proud of your accomplishment

You have earned sponsorship for free custom tunes as long as you race

Al

Thanks everyone for the props!

And thanks Al for the sponsorship opportunity! I can't wait to get the race gas tune so I can head back to the track.

My goal right now is to hit 10's without touching the bottom end or doing any head work.

Yep, but I'm still spinning a little off the line as you can see/hear in some of the vids. I also have 25k to 30k miles on my drag radials and they seem to be losing a little bit of their stickiness as they wear down to the belts.

My best 60fts were when I first got the tires 6 months to a year ago... I was pulling mid to high 1.5's with them. I hope to get back into the 1.5's once my new BFGs arrive (I ordered them late last week).
