And thanks Al for the sponsorship opportunity! I can't wait to get the race gas tune so I can head back to the track.
My goal right now is to hit 10's without touching the bottom end or doing any head work.

Not to take anything away from mike as he has a ton of time under his belt with drag racing but the wieght reduction really helps with the 60' and so do drag radials, I give him props for having the ***** to gut the evo and still drive it everyday...

The drag radials probably help my short times, but I don't think the weight has much of an effect, if any at all. I say this because several people on this forum have pulled mid to high 1.5 60fts in full weight Evos.
My car is still pretty heavy right now with a current race weight of 3140. I can easily get that down to 2700-2750, as the car still retains the factory sound system (with heavy *** sub), a/c, heat, dash, stock catback, stock hood, stock trunklid, stock brakes, stock suspension, stock wheels, passenger seat, power windows, power door locks, ABS, etc.
