What do you guys think of this run. With a mid 1.6 60' time i def.
will be good for mid 11's. Boost was spiking to about 25lbs and only holding 21 by redline. I was trying to get a 30lb spike and hold 22-23 by redline but that wasnt happening. Any suggestions on better boost control or driving are appreciated.

Car dynoed last week with some tweeks made to the tune numbers were 433 ft lbs and 402 whp on a dynojet. Tuning was done by Sean Ivey. Yes the car runs on 93 octane with 100% meth from my smc kit. meaning it is not diluted with water like some people do for various reasons.

I was using the 2 step which is set at 6300 rpms. Car spun bad and the back end kicked out to the right hard off the line.

 

Impressive other than the fact you trapped ~116 on a base flash and straight pump gas, or at least that's what you told us.

 

he's using smc meth. 100%. other than that, very impressive for your mods. your car would hit and 11.7 with a better '60ft for sure. what was your tire pressure set at? or could've been because it was the cooler season of the year.

Yes, I know, but when he was the first IX to hit 11s, he was trapping 115-116 and said it was with just stg1 mods, 93oct, and a base flash from TurboTrix (no meth). No one could figure out how he could possibly trap that high on a base flash with pump gas. Now, he trapped 116 again but with a custom tune, meth, and running as much boost as he can. That's what I was referring to...

Impressive time and trap speed, but I thought your previous best was 11.9@115mph with out meth. But the reason for not seeing great gains, could possibly be due to the fact that your not running much more boost. I would think that with the meth kit you could turn the boost up to atleast 28psi on pump gas. When your car made 402whp/433wtq, what boost was that at?

 

Those numbers came from spiking 30lbs and tapering down toward redline, but i cant get the boost to go that high at the track all it will to is spike 25 and come down to 21-22 towards redline. The forge actuator will help for sure. I ran the 11.9 @ 115 on straight pump and also posted the video to prove it because there were alot of haters that still dont believe it. With a mid 1.6 60' time i would have def. run 11.6 at least if i can get the boost up to were it should be i would trap a few mph higher. Any suggestion on the dtec boost controller settings that i should be using.
