It might be possible, but not with that power level. I assure you with all certainty that he will not go 8.8 anywhere near 147mph. More like 167mph, and how he could squeeze all that power from a 40r without nitrous, I just don't know.

Not saying its not possible, but he will need A LOT more power.


To eddie or procco evo: Although your friend is driving when your car runs the fastest, you do also drive it right? You didn't just spend all that time and money to have someone else drive it did you? Not being an ***, Just curious...

 

What's wrong with having a better driver ET the car? If I had an 800-900whp EVO, I would have a really good driver like Bajalis, Eric Jones or Curt Brown drive it than me drive and risk putting it to the wall just to prove a point....and lose thousands of dollars in repairs. We are not talking about 300-400awhp EVO here. A beast like that can be a scary ride.

I do drive my car and enjoy it daily. For now, I have two people that I trust driving it, Oscar and Dan, with the experience to get the best out of it

 

congrats! that's amazing. i loved the video with Oscar freaking out after the pass. it's awesome to see some fellow boricuas making numbers like that. i hope to be in that category some day.
